Who I am & What I do

My name is Bryan M. Blackriver. I write all the books and make all the music you see described here on this website. I edit and design all the art and books. I even draw all the pictures in my books and on any cover, including my CD covers. I made all the videos you see on my YouTube channel and made all the games you can play here on this site. I even designed all three websites for my work.

My Work

I mostly write children's books, but I may write books for older people in the future. Some of my books, such as the Wolf Forest Adventures books, are rather emotional and violent. So some parents may choose not to allow their younger children to read them yet. My music is for everybody and is never indecent. However, it's not designed particularly for children. If it's not appropriate in some way, it would be because it sounds a bit weird, sad, or depressing sometimes. I like to make quiet, emotional music. It's mainly electronic and instrumental, but it has rock features to it too and I sometimes sing in some of it.

My Company

Secret Forest is just the name of my company I use to produce and publish my work. Most of the publishing work, though, is by third-party companies, such as CDBaby for music and Amazon for music and books. CDBaby distributes my digital music and some of my CDs. Their partnered with the Disc Makers factory that burns my CDs. Amazon lets me sell my books and music in their marketplace and to do it through their kindle technology. Their sub company CreateSpace prints my physical copies of my books.
